Tired+fatigued=me
Well. I'm obviously way out of the work gig.
I'm beat.
I'm sure I'll get the hang of this in, oh, about 17 days or months or years or so.
The great news is that the girls did SUPER at the care, and cried when they had to leave. I wasn't planning to take them tomorrow, as The Hubster is off work, but Emma cried (again!) when I put her to bed, because, as she said, she's sooooo SAD that she can't go back to school. AND! As a bonus, Riley was asleep by 6:30, and Emma by 6:45. Sweet.
So, yeah, I think it worked out.
I saw over on Troll Baby that Karen was doing this cool game. She spoke about finding a new blog, one that she had never read, and reading through the archives in one sitting. Kind of like all of you guys did when you found me, naturally.
I crack myself up sometimes.
Anywho, here is what Karen had to say: So here’s an assignment for ya. Find a new blogger and dive into their archives, then introduce them to your readers. You can start in my blogroll and see if there’s anyone there you’ve never heard of, if you want. I've listed some of my favorite reads there. (Don't be offended if you aren't there - tell me. I just spent an hour updating the thing and my eyes are crossing and my contacts are drying up, and I had to stop. I forget to update that alllllllll the time, but I have about 300 blogs in my list to read - I get through them all at least once a week.)
Stop in and tell them I sent you. Read some of their archives, and promote them on your own site. If you know of someone that I'm seriously remiss in not reading, jot them down for me.

And dude, I know it's not the same thing because we don't have a houseful of kids to come home to but less than one week back into this ''work'' thing and I am more beat everyday than I was the day before; I keep waiting for it to ''get better'' but today the ice got the better of me (which was inevitable, really) and my sore booty-n-hips are screaming for reprieve (it's bad to hurt your ass when you have to sit on it to drive, heh).
Here's to continued early bedtimes for the girls and a mo bettah rest of the week for us!

I don't know if this helps, but I've always found the first day on a job to be the longest. I hope tomorrow gets easier.
