- I need a couple of new dresses for a trip that I'm taking in April to a nice, warm location. I'm thinking something like this - but it seems spendy to me, although not for a handmade dress. Have you seen anything similar in a mass retailer?
- Do you live in Va Beach, Norfolk or the surrounding areas? Are you free at 9 a.m. 1-3 mornings a week for just 30 minutes? Want an EXCELLENT workout to get into shape? (Remember, bathing suit season comes early here!) One of my Muay Thai instructors is offering a boot camp - and I've been doing it for two week and I'm here to tell you it ROCKS. It is DIRT cheap and an amazing workout.
- Regarding the previous, I'm back in my skinny jeans. Whoot! But I probably won't be tomorrow. I, uh, made cupcakes for my Suave New Year, New 'Do party (details soon, I promise!) and I ate WELL more than my fair share. They were so, so good - AND I promised to make them this weekend for the bake sale at spaghetti dinner. Sigh.
- I've pretty much been successful at giving up diet soda - and noticed - knock on some SERIOUS wood - less headaches. I'm wondering if that is what it was? Anyway, I have gone from 4-5 a day (I know, I know, don't lecture me!) to maybe one a week. The dependency curve on the caffeine lead to some serious sleepiness every afternoon, but I'm (mostly) over that. I think. Zzzzzz...
- Do you have a background in Special Ed? I have some questions that I need to find answers, and I'm running into a brick wall. Can you help a girl out?
- I know that last week I sent you over to Scrutiny by The Masses to check out three giveaways - an Flirty Apron, a gift from Knock/Knock, and a $100 Visa gift card. Wells, guess what? IN ADDITION to those three, which are still going STRONG, there is a NEW giveaway going for a TWO HUNDRED DOLLAR gift card. I'd really, REALLY love to give it away to one of you guys that reads me all the time, rather than some random Twitter follower who can't even tell me the location of the next tattoo I'm getting.
- If I ever figure out what it's going to be. :)

Have a look at www.modcloth.com - some of the clothing is pricier than others, but it's all vintage-y, and some of the dresses are similar to the one you linked to.

I have a sped degree so I could maybe help. BUT remember sped is based on federal laws, but each state "reads" the laws differently.

wrightslaw.com may be of use to you, if you don't know about it already.

Oh that dress is cute! What kind of road blocks are you running into. I have some experience in the area and a bunch of resources and brains to pick!

That is a WAY cute dress! WAY cute.
Good job on the diet soda thing. I only allow myself one a day (usually), but I'd like to cut that down.

I had a diet coke addiction also, and was going through the same type of female issues you were at 40 (I'm 45 now - shit, I wrote it, now it must be true). My headaches were awful. I didn't even know what it felt like to NOT have a headache! I gave up the diet stuff and switched to tea or coffee without artificial sweeteners (pure sugar rocks!)I was able to function that way, and my headaches disappeared. I found out from a nurse that perimenopause and artificial sweetners don't mix. Maybe that's your issue too.

That's dirt cheap for a handmade dress!

also trying to figure out new tat and location myself :) It's been 1 year since I got #1 and started this addiction leaving me already with 3. Kids are freaked I want more. Feeling the itch for the needle. Want it meaning and symbolic and pretty. Been looking at Buddhist mantras....and anything that might speak to about transitions or changes. As much as I'm not a 'snake' person I'm seriously thinking about a snake as I feel like I'm growing and shedding my skin and can't squeeze myself back into the persona that I use to be and the more I try to go back to 'how things use to be' the more and more uncomfortable I get. I'll figure something out as will you and you'll know it when you see it!

Less headaches? But you gave up the diet soda? Hmmm. I don't know if I could do that. Even if i do have horrific migraines. Let me know if it keeps up.
Also, on behalf of all Canucks who read your blog, and I know there are some as a few besides me post... Please let us know when/if your contests are open to us above the border. I just assume they are not. Thanks :)

I've got a Spec Ed masters in emotional disabilities... sup?

I can't give up my caffeine, you have my admiration for that. The dress is so pretty! For handmade, the price really isn't that bad. I wish I lived closer the Muay Thai sounds interesting.
Hope you find some help with the Spec. Ed!
