Lots of it, in fact.
I can only remember three occasions when we had a measurable amount of snow. 1980, 1988 or so - it was before I was married, as I remember walking from my apartment up to the grocery, and then right after we moved into our house - which was about 6 years ago. Emma doesn't remember snow and Riley has never seen it. Except on tv, of course.
But they saw it today! Depending upon the area, we had between 5 and 10 inches, and best of all, it will still be here tomorrow.
Way, way more below the fold...

We had ice on top of more ice, not much snow here. Glad y'all had such a good time.

I'm looking forward to enjoying it tomorrow with my hubby and kids! We need to find a good hill or two to enjoy.

Living in Chicago, I'm so over the joys of snow. ;) But my 2-yo had a blast playing in the snow this year. I can't wait for it to get warm!!

Did your husband end up having the day off?!

We got about a foot of snow, same as last month. My 6yo loves it, and we actually had a sled this time, so she is having a ball.

Ha haahaha! You JUST might be a redneck if you go sledding down the overpass. (I couldn't resist!)
We got about 6 inches on Friday and it's still hanging around, so we get another day off tomorrow. *happy sigh* People up north just don't understand what it means to get snow with no snow plows! They don't even salt the streets in our little town.
It's supposed to get up to 40 degrees tomorrow, so our snow days are definitely numbered.
Have fun!

I live in Minnesota so snow definately doesn't excite me. I would be excited if it was in the 30's or better for this time of year. It is nice that your kids got to play in it though, since it is such a novelty for you. You made some memories they will treasure!

Well how nice that snow excites your family. In Newfoundland, not so much. I guess your kids don't get up in the mornings hoping for snow days at this time of year!
