I saw this on All & Sundry and although I am nowhere near as gifted a writer as she is, I love the sentiment behind it. Please to play along in the comments below. We could all use some happiness, yes?
Things I've bought lately that make me so, so happy:
- Several Madonna songs. They bring me back to the 80's, a time that was good for me. (Not that it was GREAT and AWESOME and that now is not, but you know what I mean. I hope.)
- The HipStamatic App for my phone. I take way too many pics with this.
- In fact, let's just add my iPhone to this list. I love that thing more than I ever thought possible.
- The last book in the Pink Carnation Series. I finished it on my Kindle while traveling.
- New bras. I could not afford the expense, but I did it anyway. There's no lift like the lift one gets when the girls are swathed in purple floral lace and behaving exactly the way they are supposed to be behaving.
- Black and White Polka Dot Flip-Flops.
- Lime Tostitos and Guacamole.
What's new and amazing in your life that's making you happy?

-Weightwatchers online ( I need the structure of a food log )
-on the same note, fat free pretzel crisps and hummus (or yummus, as I call it now)
-sexy black strappy sandles that I can actually wear ALL DAY!

Due to my pending change of life style, I really haven't bought anything for myself so I will make a wish list:
A day at Salon 31 on 31st Street at the Beach, Yvonne, the owner, is the best; pedicure, massage, haircut, color, highlights, and a Starbuck next store, who could ask for more?
Dinner with my husband at the Forbidden City, their shrimp appetizer and spring rolls are amazing, and the atmosphere is very relaxing.
After that bottle of real champagne, and an evening when I am not dog tired.
Oh, did I mention, a babysitter too.

A new car!!!! Absolutely totally can NOT afford it at all. But my transmission blew in the old one... oh well! I've moved up from a radio, and only a radio, to XM, CD, and an Ipod dock! And a sun roof!!! :)

A pair of Art shoes, which I love because they fit my wide, square-ended feet :) and have 1 1/2 inch soles, so they make me taller!
A rubber stamp of a street of quirky tall houses with spires and towers, to feed my ink-and-stamp habit.
A punnet of new season English strawberries: they taste SO much better than imported ones.

Thanks for adding the new information, as well as your analysis. This is why your blog is one of the few I read that I also ever bother to comment on. I don't do it to hear myself talk - I do it because I know you actually listen.

I normally don't leave a comment, but I have read your blog for over two years now, and I love your humour!! Anyways, I just bought the Ab Circle Pro and it's fantastic! I have always had a hard time doing sit-ups because of a bad neck and this doesn't bother my neck at all and I can really tell it's working!!
