I know - pictures, two days in a row. It's almost like I'm taking the easy way out or something.
But I just discovered the HIpstamatic App for iPhone and we took a trip to the beach today.
The two things combined to be just about magical.
What happens when you take a math geek to the beach?
She writes the first five numbers of Pi in the sand:
Bringing me yet another "Special" shell
Doesn't your trip to the beach include a Ferris wheel? I rode it with Riley, who was petrified but insistent.
And yet, when we got to the top, I was the one scared and she was thrilled with the view. "I can see everything, Mama!"
It took everything I had inside me - and a bunch of concentrating on the wires - to not throw up. I'm such an infant.
Little girls in polka dot bathing suits, skipping down the boardwalk.
Life is good.

Love these!

What lens/film/flash are you using? I have the app to and am paralyzed by choices, and combinations of choices are that much worse...
Heights get me, too. I feel like jumping just to get it over with. Sometimes when I am diving in particularly clear waters, I cannot look down while descending because I feel like I am falling from a great height.
Uh, I swear I am not just a ball of neuroses...probably just need to have some more caffeine...

Yes, please explain this app to the rest of us! You are the second blogger I've seen in love with it, but I'm not sure why ...

I love this app. It's on my list of apps to download once I get my iPhone in July. ;)

I should clarify - I have no iPhone, so I have no idea what the app does a t a l l. Take the pictures? Upload them immediately? Give them a lovely vintage-y look?

Way cool vintage look! No iPhone and no apps here though, and really, I seem to take blurry, finger in the bottom of the frame, pictures. So the app would probably be wasted on me!

I absolutely love Hipstamatic. I use it everyday, and I like it just as much as my DSLR. it just makes the most amazing pictures. I love my iPhone in general, but this is by far my favorite photography app. And I've got a ton. Excellent pics, and such a great situation for Hipstamatic to shine in!

I am a simple girl. Graduated from HS, I don't watch the news or read the paper.
I read over 100 blogs each day and I truly enjoy the simple family post with pictures.
