A random kitchen, early in the morning. Well before dawn. In the five o'clock hour.
The woman makes her way downstairs. She has a new, very small coffeepot. It makes Vietnamese Coffee - the very favorite of the woman, who had mentioned it to her wonderful tailor - who just happened to be Vietnamese, and had hooked her up.
The set up looks like this.
Basically, you put two spoons of coffee into the small pot, fill it with boiling water and let it sit on top of the cup for a few minutes. (I forgot that you put some condensed milk in the bottom of the cup first.) A few minutes later, the pot is empty, you stir the coffee and condensed milk, add some warmed milk and you are on your way.
Back to the story.
The woman grabbed the pull out faucet to fill the pot. The faucet came out of the sink in her hand. Completely free of any hose of any type.
Under the sink, where the bottom of the faucet had come undone, sat two inches of water.
Now, in addition to freshly painted trim in her kitchen, please to admire the lovely, tidy, sparklingly clean under the sink cabinet.
Have a GREAT Thanksgiving!
(The woman is thankful for her husband, who had a career as a plumber before his current occupation.)

I had my Vietnamese Coffee at PHO '79 today woop woop! I have the same coffee you have at home, and one of those same drip things... how could I NOT have one. OK, two. I even bent and broke the bottom of one from having the water too hot.
Now I am GLAD I got it OUT rather than in... you are SO LUCKY you have a handyman!

Happy Thanksgiving! We're bottle feeding a kitten that was abandoned by it's Mom on our porch, so no broken faucets for me. *knockonwood* Hope you have a wonderful day!
