We NEVER get snow in December around these parts. Ever.
I often joke that it only snows when the circus comes to town - in late Feb, early March, and that's pretty true. One year we had such a bad blizzard that people were snowed in at the circus overnight. It was a crazy time. But we never get snow in December around here.
Except for today.
And I got to wear my new boots....

that's more snow than we've had this month in Eastern Nebraska!

Awesome! Here, of course, it's been 80+ for 3 days. Can we trade? Oh, after the floors are done, ok?

We've had snow in Middle Tennessee today too...which is a little unusual. Schools all over were closed and many are closing tomorrow as well!

Your boots are adorable. So far this month, we've had more than 30 inches of snow. Average in a **normal** year is 4 inches. Got 8 inches (of snow) last night - schools open, everything normal. Sigh. I want new boots. Maybe that will make it OK.
