I put new sheets on my daughter's bed yesterday. Clean, rather, not new. Flannel sheets that she picked herself. This is what we woke to this morning.
How in the WORLD did she do this? She went almost immediately to sleep and slept until I woke her.
P.S. I'm profiled over at Runs Like A Mother today. I'd love it if you'd come visit!
Also, I am giving away a Campbell's Soup bag o'goodness, as well as a phenomenal art book!

That's the same rip my son made in his flannel sheets last week! The only thing we could figure out was that spot was worn thin, and his crazy butt wiggles tore it wide open.

$5 says it was a thin spot and she put her foot through (with or without snagging a toenail first, depending on how thin it was)

My boy did this to his sheets recently, too!

Maybe her toenails need trimming?

You probably don't want to know ....truly you don't.

Going on what my kids have managed to do in the past, I vote thin spot/small tear and a toe was dug in and made it larger. :) Sadly, our dog did the same thing to our uber-expensive Christmas gift sheet set when she became scared during a thunderstorm. I cried a little on that one.

Urgh! That happened to a favorite set of my daughters, too.
I was able to mend it by using fusible web on the backside, bonding another layer of scrap flannel and tada! No scratchy stitches and we got another season out of them!

wowza-never has happened at my house, but I would guess that it was a thin spot that she happened to hit just right with something and it tore through.

I saw you over at Run like a mother! I feel we are kindred spirits. I have lost 80 pounds over the last 2 years and I know my own journey was tough. Hugs!
