I wrote a great post Friday about losing the power in my house and how my kids completely fell apart. I hesitated to post it. Thought maybe I'd post it tonight.
But I can't. Because, for the third time IN A WEEK - my entire neighborhood lost power. Each and every time, as I'm tucking the little girls into bed.
There's a story here, but my phone battery is almost dead and typing takes forever on this teeny keyboard.
Note to self: buy some flashlights and HIDE them from the children.
Peace out- until tomorrow.

What is it with kids and flashlights? They make the best stocking stuffers and Easter basket fillers, though, so that's a bonus. Our house's hidden corners are likely filled with flashlights...and socks.

Ya husbands too - he (or she) who controls the light controls the world? maybe - whatever where are the new batteries for this thing anyway....

Good luck with the electricity resuming soon! We have a couple of "parent" flashlights at our house and they're off limits for the kids. Whether or not those flashlights have batteries at the time of need is another story!
