Patty Madden

I am really sorry for your loss. And really angry at the person who chose to have no respect for somebody else's life and chose to run that red light.

Pat

I'm very sorry. I can relate to the distant memories. I only saw my maternal grandmother as a grade school child because of the miles between us, but I still have memories of helping her do laundry with the wringer washer and the laundry bluing and stick--really showing my age there!

Megan

I'm so sorry for your loss. I never intensely grieved over the death of either of my grandmothers but always think of them with a kind of longing ache. The memories are priceless.

I also hope that this will remind people to stop for red lights. I don't know how many people have to be killed for us to learn this lesson.

Patti

hugs, hugs, hugs, hugs

Nicki

I'm writing from Blogging Common, a research project at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University. We'd like to ask you to help us by joining a panel of active bloggers. Your involvement in this panel will help us answer important questions about the practices and opinions of bloggers around the globe.

What's in it for you? First access to our results, so you can see how you stack up to bloggers around the world. You'll also have the satisfaction of knowing you're part of an awesome research project at Harvard.

It takes ten minutes to answer our first set of questions. With your permission, we'll send you new short surveys on different topics several times over the next year. About Me

  • WANTED, Carmen, mom to the Masses, for dangerous undertakings inside and outside the home. Last seen with her partner The Hubster, and six accomplices (Nikolas 19, Allegra 17, Mackenzie 14, Gabriel 12, Emma 9 and Riley 8). This fugitive is considered armed (with epi pens and inhalers) and dangerous, especially when she hasn't had her morning coffee. She is particularly difficult to recognize due to an 80 pound weight loss (size 18-20 down to 6-8!), and has been known to hide beneath large piles of laundry. She's a fan of running races, has her Black Belt in Muay Thai and can be found reading, training Crossfit, boxing or running to the store for milk and bread. And coffee. Always the Coffee.
