This week, I've been described by two different people using a one word description. Both of the people in question were medical professionals.
One described me at "Practical".
One described me as "Patient".
The more I think about it, I agree with Practical and not so much with patient.
What one word would you say does or does not describe you?

People describe me as "opinionated". And that's very true. But often when they see me being very vocal, they somehow translate that into "intelligent (smarter than X, Y, or Z)".
Not that I mind TOO terribly.

If you were to poll friends and family one word would nice. Or kind. Or patient. All are correct, though I am embarrassed by the nice one.

Reserved. No one would ever call me reserved.

Committed works for me. On my good days, it's "committed to my family, my job, etc." On the bad days, it's "should be committed." ;)

Over the years, I have been told that I am content, loyal and calm. The first two fit pretty well, the third, not so much. I guess I just hide it well. ;)

The word that describes me: compassionate. The word that absolutely does not: confident.

Maybe she meant you were a "patient" :)

I've been described as patient by lots of people - I think they've all been smoking too much of something they shouldn't because I certainly wouldn't describe myself that way!
Shy is how I would describe myself - but all my friends would turn around and ask me what I've been smoking!
Perception is a funny thing....

I think I am most commonly described as "organized" which I would agree with. But I am only outwardly organized because I'm inwardly all over the place.
I was recently described as "organic" which shocked me. I wouldn't say it was an accurate description. Anything "organic" I do is really just because I am cheap.

I am determined with a side of stubborn.
I am not organized, though many people just assume that I am.

When my basketball season ended yesterday, the team parents each said something nice about my coaching -- very touching -- and most used words like "calm," "a model of grace under pressure," "level-headed," "positive-thinking," and "motivational" ... all very applicable to my coaching, perhaps, but now I need to challenge myself to make sure my kids and family feel the same way! I think my family would say "capable" and perhaps "messy" -- and definitely "loving" (which might have something to do with the mess -- I'd much rather hold a kid and read a book than clean!).

one word that doesn't describe me is "patient"
one word that does describe me is "easy going"

I once had something similar asked in a college class. We had to write about ourselves. Now I'm asking facebook pals what they think.
I would say informed or opinionated. Or caring, easy-going.
Not organized for sure. That one is a constant challenge.
