Oh, honey. That just sucks. Sometimes the worst days aren't the ones with a large catastrophe, but the ones where a million small things go wrong and it feels like being pecked to death by ducks. I really hope tomorrow makes it up to you.

Mary @ A Simple Twist of Faith

You have lived to fight another day, I hope it is a better one for you.

addy

Oh ICK! Just ICK! Here's to an enjoyable weekend with company - maybe :)?

Karen

Anyone else dying to know what book she trashed? :-)

Kay

I want to know what book went in the trash :-)

Erin

Gosh any one of those things could have turned a good day bad, but all in one day? ugh!

Lisa

I make a mean old-fashioned and Louisiana is driving distancd for you, right? :)

Ann W

so sorry, Carmen...that is a horrible, horrible day...you deserve whatever makes you feel better - chocolate, ice cream, coffee, wine...a whole bottle, maybe! Hope things get better today.

Headless Mom

Eew. Sucktastick, indeed.

If I win the lottery I'll send you to BlogHer.

That most definitely falls in the category of "terrible, horrible, no good, very bad, day!!" One time, I had the most aggravating 45 minutes imaginable... it's a long story, so let's just say I had no idea so much stuff could go wrong taking my daughter to her soccer game, then briefly leaving to get gas (in the van) and some breakfast sandwiches. By the time I made it back to the soccer field, I was really wishing Valium were available as breath mints!! LOL And yes, also wondering what book it was...

LizP

I would normally say "full moon" but today is the new moon. :-(

Brandy

I had one of these days Wednesday. And yes, I can say I'm curious about the book you trashed. Big, BIG HUGS!

Tara

You sound like you could use a cocktail.

kyooty

That is a whole lot of Aggrivation. Good luck with the guests. So how was the sheets shopping? find anything nice? I was just wondering if I should do that this week? I'm expecting guests

Burpees... Sounds like you are into crossfit, amazing how I missed that before now... So how does one donate air miles to a good cause?

UKCraftySal

It can only get better...

Laura

You gotta tell us what book it was. You don't want us wasting our hard earned money on it when you could have saved us, do you? Reviews don't only have to be positive - we need to hear the negative ones too.

About Me

  • WANTED, Carmen, mom to the Masses, for dangerous undertakings inside and outside the home. Last seen with her partner The Hubster, and six accomplices (Nikolas 19, Allegra 17, Mackenzie 14, Gabriel 12, Emma 9 and Riley 8). This fugitive is considered armed (with epi pens and inhalers) and dangerous, especially when she hasn't had her morning coffee. She is particularly difficult to recognize due to an 80 pound weight loss (size 18-20 down to 6-8!), and has been known to hide beneath large piles of laundry. She's a fan of running races, has her Black Belt in Muay Thai and can be found reading, training Crossfit, boxing or running to the store for milk and bread. And coffee. Always the Coffee.
