So. It's a new feature here, one to which I was exposed by the incomparably fantastic Fadra. Here are the rules:
This was my 5 minute Stream of Consciousness Sunday post. It’s five minutes of your time and a brain dump. Want to try it? Here are the rules…
- Set a timer and write for 5 minutes only.
- Write an intro to the post if you want but don’t edit the post. No proofreading or spellchecking. This is writing in the raw.
- Publish it somewhere. Anywhere. The back door to your blog if you want. But make it accessible.
- Add the Stream of Consciousness Sunday badge to your post.
- Link up your post on her site.
- Visit your fellow bloggers and show some love.
- I'm tired. Blogher is fun, exciting, impressive and so fun- but it's exhausting. Sessions all day, parties all night, friends, all around - Blogher.never.sleeps. I have stayed up way too late every single night and my body is still on East Coast time, so I'm up early. I think I'm gonna crash today.
- San Diego is gorgeous, but San Diego is cold. I'm wearing a sweater. In August. And it's too cold to swim in the beautiful pool.
- I broke my sandals the first night I was here. I packed sandals, heels and runners. My feet are killing me.
- And my legs are tired. I've exercised a lot and walked a ton and much of it in bad shoes.
- I don't want to go home. I miss my family. I can't wait to go home. I want to stay here forever. My friends are the best. I miss my family.
- Food Network has some weird shows.
- I wish my Blogher friends lived by me.
- I had to call the police about something I saw in San Diego that is still bothering me. (I'll write about it this week.)
- Five minutes is not very long at all.

I love the I don't want to go home I want to go home section. That shows up in my SOC Sunday post, too, but for different reasons!
I am one of six children. I wouldn't have had it any other way.. would have loved more than my three but sometimes this is how things work out.
Grateful to have found you via SOCSunday. Enjoy your travel home!

Stopping by from SOC.
Glad you had fun, I'm super jealous. But man, I just don't know if I could ever survive that schedule!
Hope you recover quickly.

Visiting from #SOCSunday - I'm really sad you didn't have time to go shopping to replace the broken sandals : ) So envious of the opportunity to go to BlogHer11. Sounds fabulous & stressful all at once.

Sounds like one of those trips that is SO.FUN. but so exhausting you feel as if you need a vacation to recover from it :) And I totally got the "don't wanna go/wanna go" thought. I've felt that way before, when I've gone out of town without my kids and/or hubby. I thought I was the only one who knew what that felt like. LOL!
