It's Sunday again, and although I have forgotten to do this SOC for a few weeks now, I'm back with a vengenance. I'd love if you'd participate. Here are the rules:
- Set a timer and write for 5 minutes only.
- Write an intro to the post if you want but don’t edit the post. No proofreading or spellchecking. This is writing in the raw.
- Publish it somewhere. Anywhere. The back door to your blog if you want. But make it accessible.
- Add the Stream of Consciousness Sunday badge to your post.
- Link up your post below.
- Visit your fellow bloggers and show some love.
Now…
Grab the button and link up your post on Fadra's site. And let us all know, so we can come visit.
2 - We are going out as a family tonight - Joe's Crab Shack emailed me to ask if I'd be willing to take my entire family out on them. Uh, yeah. We rarely go out all 8 of us together, so this should be really interesting. What will probably happen, Cliff Notes version: Little ones get loud and/or whiny, big kids get embarrassed, Mom has a drink, Mom and Dad threaten kids to behave, fierce whispers are employed, phones are passed around the table for playing games purposes, big people leave early because they are mortified that the youngest is crying and the table is a mess. The wait staff is delighted when we leave.
Don't you want to join us?
3 - It's rained for five days. I'll just LET you imagine how inflated my hair is.
4 - Speaking of hair, did you know that Aveda Clove color conditioner will actually replenish the brown - if you color your hair, that is, which I do - and can stretch out your color jobs.
5 - I'm looking forward to watching Pan Am - I can't watch it tonight - hello, 10 p.m. is mah bedtime, not time to watch a show - but I set it on the dvr for the next several episodes.
6 - I'm thinking of doing a once a week round up of things I've pinned on Pinterest and tried. I try an awful lot of the things that I pin - or order a few - and I wonder if you guys are interested.

What a lovely flowing SOCSunday post. I trust you will have a raucous time at the Crab Shack. How fabulous to go for FREE!!!! YAY!!!
I look forward to PanAm, too, which I almost forgot if you hadn't mentioned it!

How does one get Joe's Crab Shack to email them and invite you to take a family of 8 there for free? I guess this is for your scrutiny blog. Your job has some sweet perks!

What kind of bride that she is preparing a biscuit? I would not let my fiancee do this! At the weekend it must have a rest!

Ooh, I'm not a fan of biscotti but I will eat lemon ANYTHING. And how did your Crab Shack go? Maybe you wrote about it. I'm clearly playing catch up here!

It does not follow that because we do not subsidize smoking, we should not regulate unhealthy activities. Costs and savings are not the only variable. The fact that obesity creates costs is merely an additional reason to regulate it, not the only one. The main reason is its danger to an individual. You are dismissive of subsidizing smoking precisely because of this moral intuition.
