I do not have a Bucket List.
I never had a "40 by 40", and won't be creating a "50 by 50".
None of those appeal to me at all.
Mostly because I'm lazy and I can't come up with non lame items to add to the list.
I tried, once, to create a 40 by 40 list. I think I was about 38, and all of a sudden, I kept hearing about other people's "bucket" lists - things to do before they kick the bucket.
Nothing against those who have created them - I just can't think of enough stuff to put on a list, and the pressure to get it all done before a certain age makes me twitchy.
If I *had* created a list, I don't know that I would have ever put on said list - Kick a Field Goal on Ford Field in Detroit - but when the opportunity came, I took it. The same with going to Harley Camp. People kept asking me if those activites were on my "bucket" list when I was participating in them.
If I *did* have a list, it'd probably be written in pencil, with lots of strike throughs and addendums.
The only things I could really put on a list are travel related - I'd love to go to Scotland, to Ireland, and to Greece.
Other than that, I'm not interested in creating a list and trying to cram it all in by a certain birthday. Maybe my list will be called "3 things by 100".
Do you have an age list? What kind of stuff is on it? What have you done that was on the list?

My only age related goal was buying a house by the time I was 30.
Sounds like the only thing on your list is: Seize opportunities when they are given. And you are working your list. :)

Ya no list. Leave each day to its fullest. Enjoy the moment. Love unconditionally. That's it.

The only list I'm good at making is the grocery list. I like the live in the moment thing! Although I would like to travel a bit more.

Ditto on the grocery list. I can make a grocery list like it's my job. But a bucket list...meh. Not interested. I tried doing one of those 101 goals in 1001 days that were trendy 2-3 years back. It went kinda okay the first 4 months, then fell off as I realized that what was important to me AT THAT TIME had morphed into WHAT'S IMPORTANT TO ME NOW - and I wasn't interested in a lot of the things on my list anymore. Are there some things I'd like to do before I die? Yes. If the opportunity, timing and desire trifect. But also, I've already done a lot of things I've loved that I would never have imagined including on such a list - so why limit my imagination to an arbitrarily conceived list.

I love list - but my to-do list is more like weed the garden, get groceries, and don't forget to pick up X kid from ____. My wish / bucket / before I die lists changes to much - seems like a lot of effort and I would rather do what sounds good at the moment or take advantage as things come up. :- )

I'm not go at anything but 'to do today' and grocery lists. to do before a certain age or before death (which could happen an hour from now or 50 years from now, so how can you possibly plan...) are too much for me. My interests change often enough that would be too busy alternating between adding new things and wondering "what the hell was I thinking' about others to manage to accomplish any of them.

I don't know that I've had any of these goals based on age or buckets.

I don't have a list either for the same reason ... all I can think of is lame stuff.

I don't have a list because I would feel pressure to put cool things on it and I doubt any of them would happen. Then I'd be disappointed. Not worth it. There are things I'd like to do someday, but I'm of the opinion that if they happen-good. If not, they were not meant to be.

I love lists so I did have a 30x30 and now have a 40x40. But if something really cool comes up that isn't on the list, I do it obviously! (like swimming with stingrays).
I guess for me, it's easy to get caught up in the day to day mundane tasks that I need to remind myself that I'm working towards some cool stuff and that I won't have any regrets at the end. Like "I always meant to jump out of a plane and I kept forgetting because I didn't write it down". Which sounds silly but honestly if I don't write something down, it doesn't usually get done. LOL

I have a bucket list. It's more for fun than anything, so it mixes the practical (Learn to drive) with the less practical (Be a truck driver). Some of them I've managed to tackle and cross off methodically (Run a 10K; Run a half marathon; Run a marathon); others were less planned (Go a month without nightmares; Eat eggplant); still others I'm still working on (Learn to do a cartwheel; Sea kayak; Live in a tent). My only real rule is that although they don't have to be probable, they do have to be possible (Meet Emma Thompson). It's less a list of things that I "have" to do and more a reminder of (mini-)adventures that could happen.

I kept it simply- made a Bucket List for the Summer. Just 10 things... and blogged the thing. NOW, I am stressing to actually do all 10 & usure I will make such a proclamation again!

I don't believe in bucket lists. Something about it seems like a todo list and then one is free to die. Anyway that being said, there are some things I hope to do: see Aurora Borealis, attend the Olympics, visit all 50 states ,all the National Parks , drive across the country in no particular hurry.
