Help a girl out?

Carmen is a fellow momma of many who works hard at being a good mom, and enjoys staying fit and strong. I've been reading her blog since 2006, and got to meet her IRL at Bloger 08. She is one of the moms who inspired me to start running, and I always enjoy reading about what's going on in her life.
There, how's that for an intro? Have a great time at BlogHer!
Love ya
Mary

Wrong in soooo many ways I can't even begin to count them, but every time I read your blog banner, a voice in my head finishes it with 'My husband & I, we have the sex.' - and it's in this weird German sounding drawl. Probably saw it in a movie or something, but I think you should lead with that.

Carmen is a women of contradictions, like so many of the rest of us. She's quiet, but also loud and bold. Tough, but also vulnerable and easily bruised. She loves her family fearsly and they're also the ones most likely to drive her crazy. To an outsider, she's a work-at-home mom to 6, but to those of us who read her blog - we know that's just the tip, she's sooo much more.
Why read her blog? Well, learn about her contradictions. And if you like reading blogs about real lives, it's one of the best. She shares what's real - she puts herself out there.

One of the most authentic bloggers out there. Mom to the Screaming Masses gives a glimpse into one real family's life.
This is the blog to read if you are in the need of a major solidarity "I've been there too...and came out on the other side" moment.

Carmen is an amazing cook, a fierce and loving mother, a smart, strong, determined, funny woman, and a witty and engaging writer. If that weren't enough, she's also gorgeous. Yet with all of that, she never makes you feel less-than. She has her self-doubts, but doesn't let them conquer her. She has her triumphs, but she doesn't rest on her laurels. And you feel that you could share yours with her, and know she would understand.

What I love about MttSM is that it is real. It deals with real issues that families (and friends) must deal with -- budgets, living healthy, schools (and having kids at several different ones), emotions, IEPs, sensory integration, just being REAL.

Carmen writes for all of us moms. She writes about those days when your heart is going to burst from the pride we feel when our child accomplishes what they thought was unaccomplishable,, but she also writes about those days when your mom heart gets violently ripped from your chest when your childs self confidence is torn apart from an ugly word on the playground, but most of all she writes honestly about how hard, amazing, and fulfilling it is to be a mom. And I relate to every word she writes.
