These are fairly lousy self portraits - what I wouldn't GIVE to have a couple of my photographer blogging friends nearby - but yes, I *did* put more blue in my hair. On the top.
And, yes, there's some green in there too.
And, yes, I knew what I was doing and, yes, I wanted it to look like that.
And, no, I'm not crazy. Or having a midlife crisis. I promise.

I love it! My feeling about hair color is that if I'm paying for it, people are going to know I did it :-)

Looks good! It's slightly less obvious than the all-over blue spray my hubby and I used today to dress as Thing 1 and Thing 2 (early Halloween party). Of course, mine has all been washed out of my blonde hair now :-)

I love the blue! I can only do the warmer tones near my face so it's always the orange or red for me!

One of my favorite things about you. You want blue hair? Blue you shall have. I'd never have the nerve to do that to my hair. I really like it & you know I would have taken pics for you! Not that they'd be much better than yours lol

You don't have to worry about what other people would say about your hair. If it makes you feel happy about yourself, then go ahead and do what you want. It does look good after all. But why don't you try to combine those colors with a short hair? It should make the color standout more. :)

Do you bleach your hair first to get the color to show? I have darker brown hair and have been thinking about putting purple in mine. I hesitate though because I'm unsure about bleaching. Did you have yours done professionally?
