By Friday, I need extra shots in my coffee, just to get jump started in the morning.
I tried out a new fitness place near me, and was hooked. It's called 9Round, and the basic premise is nine stations of three minutes of kickboxing work with a 30 second cardio burst in between. One round was front kicks. One round was jab cross. One round was jump rope, and one station was speed bag. We also did some ab work in there. He did one station of pad work with me, which I have really missed.
I will be doing this at least three times a week from here on in. LOVE.
My son started with the golf team again this year, and today was the first meet. The field was a spongey mess, but he did well.
And I made drunken raisin walnut cookies - soak the raisins in rum, heat it in the microwave and then allow to cool. Mix into the batter with walnuts.
(I also worked, did kid pick up, did laundry and took my daughter to rehearsal for Cosi Fan Tutte - of these things, I do not have photographic evidence. :)
