(Looking for the sponsored post from earlier today? It will be up another day - sorry for the inconvenience, there was a delay with the program that's out of my control. Thanks for understanding!)
When I was a kid, I loved going to the air show - my dad was in the navy (he was a b/n) and I clearly remember he performed in at least a few of them.
I still live in the same city I grew up in, and the jets are a constant source of noise - and, let's face it, intrigue and inspiration - daily. This weekend was the air show. I've taken my kids to it before - the last time we went was the first time I'd taken my super sensory individual and let's just say
It was a DISASTER.
So this year, when we saw the jets practicing in the days before the event, and my younger kids clamored to attend - well, I though long and hard about it.
And I slapped some noise canceling headphones (my gun range headphones) on that kid and we went.
The Blue Angels were there, and I took some pictures. (Canon T3, 10-22 lens, ISO 800 F 7.1, touched up in LR)
I love the Blue Angels.
