Man, when I was a kid, I could not WAIT to be an adult.
When I'm a grown up, I will never eat another salad or vegetable at all.
Except for those days I really crave salad - yes, they do exist - and I eat veggies as often as I can.
When I'm an adult, I will go to bed WHENEVER I want - I'm even going to stay up all night long if I feel like it!
Except that, most nights, I start craving bed about, oh, 7:30. (Sadly, I'm not even kidding.)
Boy, when I have my own house, I'm only going to do the chores I *want* t do, and if I hate doing it - I'll never do it again.
Uh huh. Tell me how well that works. Go ahead - the dust cloth and I will be right here when you get done.
I will drink soda all day. I'l eat ice cream for breakfast if I want, drive wherever I want, wear what I feel like wearing -
Well, that last part is mostly true. I did start a bag for clothing that doesn't look good on me - I'm looking side eyed at you, American Eagle cowl neck that makes me look like Big Bertha and I've kept it solely because of the label.
Bascially, what I was when I was a kid was a brat, amirite?
Despite the fact that adulthood isn't nearly the all day long rave I once thought it would be, I'm finally at a place where I feel like I like who I am and what is going on
Except for the fact that I really, really want to eat cake for breakfast and I'm perfectly content to go to sleep at 8 p.m. :)
