Maybe you need a treat for a get-together with friends. Maybe you need something to bring to a New Year's Day brunch.
This is a delicious choice.
I’ve taken this to several parties - in those small, shot sized Red Solo cups - and it’s been very, very well received. I've seen this recipe in multiple places but I've made some changes to it and spiffed it up a bit.
- 3/4 cup Rum Chata
- Large box instant chocolate pudding
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup Godiva chocolate liquor
- 8 oz heavy cream, whipped
- an additional 4 ounces heavy whipping cream, whipped
Whisk together the pudding mix, milk, and alcohol until nice and smooth.
Fold in the whipped cream. Quickly scoop into serving cups of your choice - note that this is really rich, so smaller servings are definitely better. Top with additional whipped cream. Garnish as you like - grated chocolate is good, as are berries of your choice, chocolate covered espresso beans, or chocolate leaves.
