Lots of snow. Over a foot, to be exact. And because we live at the beach, and we rarely get snow, we don't have the equipment to plow and our roads aren't treated, so we are pretty much in the house for a couple of days. The roads are a solid sheet of ice, as temperatures aren't forecast to get above freezing for several days and so no one is going anywhere.
It sure is pretty.
My girls wanted me to take some pictures of them - I was glad to do so.
Photography is probably one of my favorite things.
These next two pictures? Are of a LAKE. They look like a field, covered in snow.
We don't often get snow, but man, when it started on Thursday, we really did it up perfectly.
It's a good thing you enjoy photography because your photos are gorgeous! The way you capture and colors and mood is amazing. I think we are all better off with you having enough free time to take these beautiful pictures for everyone to enjoy. Thank you Carmen. Oh, and your girls are are beautiful like their mother, so I'm sure they will always love being your subjects.. Enjoy the winter when it comes, because soon enough it'll warm right up and become mud in your shoes!

I just reentered the blogosphere and was going through my old list of favorite blogs. I am so happy to see you still typing away and sharing those photos. It made me smile!
