While I'm at Blissdom, I've had time to concentrate on the task at hand for this post. Naming FIVE FABULOUS bloggers. I know a lot of bloggers. I've been doing this for more than 8 years, and I've seen blogs come and go, gotten to know lots of bloggers - some of them really well. But there are a few that stand out in my mind as being top notch, really quality bloggers, and so I would LOVE to share them with you.
MIR - I don't know WHAT to say about Mir - except that there are very few bloggers who can do all that she does with the eloquence, style and wit that Mir lends to everything she touches. I am in awe of her freakish "golden touch" and frequently hope it could rub off on me - as if. She handles many of the same situations I do - with a spectrum kiddo and a teenager - MUCH better than I could EVER dream of.
KELLE - I know - everyone is going to write about Kelle. She's an amazing photographer who has an eye unlike just about any other photographer I've ever seen. I first learned about her blog when the story of Nella's birth became the fastest circulated post - Nella was born with Down's Syndrome and it was unexpected. Kelle celebrates life every day. loves mightily and lives passionately. Her words are raw, true, honest and inspiring.
ALI - The gorgeous beauty behind the Bliss of the Blissdom conference, Alison Worthington has almost as many kids as I do but handles them so.much.better. She's a fierce advocate for doing the right thing, has no scruples about calling out those that do wrong, and is who I want to be if I ever grow up.
TONY- Also know as The Anti Jared, Tony is a weight loss inspiration to me. He's a chef who lost 200 pounds. He's as much of a gym rat as I am and the frequent dose of both snark and "get your butt in gear" that I desperately need. I've struggles lately with my weight, and whenever I feel like plwoing face first into the Sour Cream and Onioon Popchips - I put them down and think of Tony. If he can do it - I can.
CASEY - her site is called Moosh in Indy, a tribute to her daughter and the fact that she lives in, duh, Indy. I've been privileged to know Casey in real life for quite a while now. She has an amazing eye for photography, blogs honestly and from the heart, and never takes any crap from anyone. All bonuses in my book. She's expecting Moosh 2.0 this spring and it's been a hard fought battle with infertility and massive sickness, and she's handled it all with grace and aplomb. AND - she's gorgeous.
Don't forget to enter the 50 Fabulous Wishes contest for a chance to win $1,000 to support a friend's wish. I was selected for this Tropicana Trop50 sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do. I received compensation to use and facilitate my post.
