I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Danimals and received a gift card to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
Recess is my kids favorite part of the school day - probably much like your own kids. in fact, every day, when I ask them to name three good things and one bad thing about their day - if they've had no recess, you can guess which side of the list that fact falls on. I think recess is one of the most important parts of their day - it affords them the opportunity to play with their friends, blow off steam, get the wiggles out and get in some of that recommended 60 minutes of exercise.
Danimals, that drinkable yogurt that kids love (mine included!), has come up with a healthy competition, pitting school against school. Rally for Recess allows five schools the chance to win new playground equipment and an all-day recess celebration. This is super easy to do - just buy Danimals drinkable yogurt, enter the codes found on the packaging, select your school, and get your friends and family to do the same. Can you imagine what a hearo you would be if you helped your school win the ultimate recess package?
One winning school from each of the five leagues will receive a playground makeover and an ultimate recess day. This all-day recess party might include activities such as a climbing wall, a dunk tank, an obstacle course, or a giant slide. It’s one recess students won’t forget and one playground that’ll inspire fun for years to come.
Dunk tank. Giant slide. All day recess - words that my kids would LOVE to hear. I will be buying Danimals anyway - my kids love the taste and I'm happy about the fact that it is free of high fructose corn syrup. Why not use the purchase of what is a staple in our house help our school out at the same time?
Sounds nice, but I'm wondering how many schools can fit an all day recess into their schedules with standardized test prep and everything else? It'll probably wind up being on a Saturday. Anyway, it's great that Danimals is doing this. I would love to see them do something to help schools that have eliminated recess entirely, too.
