Excellent links! Do you subscribe to that Fitness Magazine? I hadn't seen it before.

I've been looking for quick protein sources that aren't sweet, like protein bars can be. I need a mid-morning protein shot, and am getting tired of hard boiled eggs. I can't do dairy, so a cheese stick or yogurt isn't a good solution.

Anybody have any ideas?

I think this is a good article about interval training:

My gym trainer wants me to start doing that on the elliptical (which kicks my BUTT!) or on the bike. Whew!

That last one- the bad foods? NONE! Now, I've had my fair share of pizza and Starbucks, though. Just not those. :-P

No bad foods here either.

2 new things: Our cable Video on Demand has 6 workouts (2 abs, 2 yoga, 2 aerobics), all for FREE! I'll be trying those when I get home. And Target has resistance bands for 2 DOLLARS (front of store in the dollar spot area.) I bought one and will be using it, too.

I also wanted to weigh in on my breakfast...Kashi Mountain Medley, add a handful of blueberries, with Glen Oaks drinkable lowfat yogurt, preferably tropical fruit flavor. Keeps me going all morning!

easy to say no to all of the bad foods...I thought it would be stuff in the pantry. There are advantages to living in the boondocks!

sorry the menses article doesn't make me wish I still had a uterus. Not missing the big red at all. Though I could always count on weight loss every two weeks at both ovulation and menses.

Do you know of the prevention url where they give you the walking songs to d/l to your ipod? I once read somewhere they had all the staff picks available but can't find it anywhere. Looking for new exercise music. Though the black eyed peas got me moving on Sunday

I read the book Skinny B*tch yesterday and i think I need to wash my brain. I do not have a pretty mouth, I curse but these chicks! OH MY! I think my mouth hung open the whole time I read. They are vegans too, which is not for me although I do eat a lot of meat substitutes. Had some good ideas in it though. Taking the good ideas, forgetting the rest. lol

never had any of those "bad" foods. can't imagine wanting any of them either.

I am proud to say I have never had any of those "worst" foods. My co-workers and I say the baconator is a heart attack on a plate!
Loved the Prevention article--I'll be printing that one out.
