I have failed at the 200 sit up challenge.
I did not do it at all last week, thanks to the trip and getting so sick while away and then the HUGE muscle cramp - which is mostly gone today, thanks to the wonderful massage that I got last night - Doreen (greatest masseuse ever) spent just about 45 minutes solely on my right leg. I could barely walk when she was finished, but today it was much better. And I'm convinced that I was seriously dehydrated, because I have been draining my water bottles dry and going back for more all day long.
So. I was to start on week three, due to the number of sit ups I completed on the test. But since last week was a bust, I'm doing week three again.
Check in with me. How was your first and second week? Did you complete both? Were they tough? Too easy? If you really struggled, do the same week over.
I'm still hanging in there. You with me?

Gah-I'm with you! Did the first 2 days of week 3 and my last week and a half got away from me. HOWEVER, since I way overindulged today for Super Bowl I plan on walking for at least an hour tomorrow morning (and running a little if I can,) and then coming home and starting week 3 again. We'll start again together!

I hope your leg cramp is better. If it doesn't seem to go away or it starts to swell or get red and hot go to the ER and get ultra-sounded for a blood clot. Flying can cause these and since you had a leg cramp after your flight it sent my warning bells off. I almost died from blood clots 2 yrs. ago. I don't think that women really know the warning signs of one and think that it will just go away. So please just keep an eye on it. Not to scare you, I'm just concerned.

I'd love to say I achieved my goal but to be honest, I think I miscalcuated my baseline because I was barely able to get through week one. So, this morning I started over with 15 sit-ups done correctly. We'll see where this gets me.
Glad to hear you're beyond the pukefest.

Arghh. Have not been doing them - got sick, then husband got sick (shouldn't enter into MY reasons though, I know). Plan to begin again tomorrow. Back to it, everybody! I feel better after telling my dirty little secret!

I did the first week and thought there was gonna be a place on your blog to post our results (every friday). After waiting a few days, I kinda gave up. I lost my motivation, and dont get me wrong, im totally not blaming you, I think that its really saying something about me. So I didnt do the second or third week. But seeing that you girls still kept going, its giving me motivation to start again. Tonight, I promise (when I get home from work) I WILL DO MY SITUPS!!
lol

I have to admit I failed this challenge. I did the test, then 2 days of workouts followed by a stomach virus that kept me in bed for 4 days. And even after I got out of bed the thought of doing anything was not appealing. So now I am starting to feel better and am going to start all over. I look forward to hearing everyones stories.
