Ordinarily, what I'd do to a block of cheese. See also: what I'd like to do to this huge stack of bills on the counter.
Yes, like the lemming I am, I have joined the Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred program. Back at the beginning of March, the beauteous Kristen sent out a call for interested parties to join her in shredhead solidarity. Being in the dumb walking boot, I was unable, but filed the info away as a possibility when I recovered. And then I had to sit and recover for a long, long time. From Feb 17 when I injured myself to May 4 when I was discharged from PT is a buttlong amount of time to me. I followed her progress and saw that the program appeared to be a) incredibly difficult and b) something that worked, as evidenced by her weight loss and inch shrinkage. Whilst watching her and her compadres sweat their little tails off, I may or may not have indulged in a few too many mixed drinks/bowls of chips and salsa/cupcakes/slices of warm bread and butter/plates of pasta.
What? I apparently have yet to break the "I feel awful, let's comfort with fattening food!" cycle I've been in for my entire life. Sue me. I'm not sure how much weight I'm up, but I am up a pants size and feeling "fluffy" all around.
Now that I'm healed (yay!), I've decided to give it a whirl. After all, I'm in pretty good shape - or I was before the injury. I've had a sneaky suspicion - more than a hunch, shall we say - that my endurance is shot. So I'm shredding, and I'm going to be blogging it at DietsInReview once a week.
Who's in it with me? If you don't want to shred, bookmark the site and follow along with my pathetic attempts to follow Jillian's form. It's been a VERY interesting couple of days already.

Can I watch? I'm also on the injured and suspose to be watching it instead of snacking on it point. It's sooooo hard to get back at it! I've been doing the wii fit and wii sport though. I'll listen to the shredders though. If I'm ever allowed to do anything strenuous again, I'll come back for inspiration as I know you can do it!:)

I'm in. I need to get back in the workout habit and perhaps eventually get to the level 2 workout :)

so how goes it? reviews upon it's intial release were that it was pretty lame and they were suprised she'd allow them to put her name on it. But it works eh?
I have yet to register on my Wii fit lest my children have another reason to laugh at their fatto fatto mom. If I cover enough of my body with tattoo ink I'll look smaller right?
thinking I should have a bathroom scale tattoo'd onto my forehead to remind me how much I loathe my body @@
