This week I did the following for exercise:
- Sunday I walked for 45 minutes.
- Monday - worked out with my trainer and did weight work and took capoeira
- Tuesday - nothing. I was grumpy and irritable because what I planned didn't work with the back to school drama
- Wednesday - worked out with my trainer and did weight work. I took a Muay Thai class and a capoeira class and pulled my piriformis muscle - in other words, I PULLED MY ASS muscle.
- Thursday I took a Muay Thai class. And I grumbled and gimped my way through it, hobbling around and feeling like the biggest joke of all, because, really - who sprains their BUTT?

Monday and Tuesday this week I did my 2-mile Walk Away the Pounds dvd. Wednesday I did the free step on Wii Fit for a half an hour while the kids and I watched Wipeout. Today I took a VERY LONG 2 mile walk with the kids.
At the beginning of August I decided to buy a GoWear Fit (same as bodybugg). I am loving it! I have lost 6 pounds since August 3rd. It is really motivating me to keep moving. Never before would I have decided to step while watching tv!

Walking each day. On Tuesday, each lap I stopped to do push-ups or tricept dips on a bench. It's getting over 100 here, so my early am walk is about all you'll get out of me.

well today I actually did more then think about walking. Instead of curling up local news (see my failure post in previous thread) I hauled my arse outta bed and did the almost 3 mile loop. I didn't run at all but I didn't have to stop on any of the steepest inclines either, which in my head = I haven't slipped back as far fitness wise in reality as it was happening in my head. I've got the next 2 days off so barring any rain I hope to rinse and repeat. Then do so beach walking next week in CA.

Every day I've been in a fight with the flu. That's a workout. I am pleased to report that I did a scale climb for WW and recorded NO CHANGE from a month ago. Whenever I can I'm going to hit the walking trails again. Great weather here lately, but I really don't feel up to taking advantage of it.
Oh, and I published a book. Check my blog.

I walked on Monday and Wedensday. Bike on Tuesday. Nothing yesterday and today except chase the kiddos and pack for a campout. That might count as weight work.
I was giggling about your bum! That is funny.

Monday: walked/ran to and from the playground with the kids: 1.4 miles
Tuesday: Rode bikes on a trail with the kids: 5 miles
Wednesday: swam 1/2 mile, Pilates for 45 minutes with the kids
Thursday: Tae Bo favorites with the kids
Friday: it was raining. again.
Hate missing a day, but it was pretty good for a wet week.
The butt is the biggest muscle in the body, so hey! It's a prime candidate for a pull. Good work!

I have bilateral Piriformis Syndrome and do preventive PT exercises in bed every morning before I get up to avoid the Pain-in-the-a**.

I did the Renovation Workout all weekend, and because I was slidding across a floor on my butt painting baseboards...I too have a sore a$$.
I feel like I ran a half marathon with doing two days of renovations.

I'm on week three of my 'three a week' workouts with my trainer! Today she wasn't available, so I walked my dog at a fast clip for 40 min, and did the strength moves she's been teaching me. I'm making progress!
We can do this! Starting over is actually a really good strategy...I start over every day!! :)

I'm super lucky to be in a research study for postpartum women doing weight training with a trainer twice a week--and I'm getting paid to do it! So I've been diligent for the last month and I'm already up to 115 on the leg press and 50 on the bench press.
Other than that, I walk and walk and walk and walk, most of the time pushing 90 pounds worth of babies and stroller.
Just keepin' on around here.

You went from a size 18-20 to a 2-4?! WOW!!
Congratulations.
I am eating healthier and trying to loose the weight. At my heaviest I was a size 22. I am currently in an 18 and working hard to get back to my 8-10 size I was when dh and I married 12 years ago. Of course I was much younger then and there wasn't 7
pregnancies involved.
So we'll see. It's slowly coming off. Just wish it would hurry. lol
