I don't dust baseboards. Or much of anything, until company is coming over. I don't iron. I buy clothes that don't require ironing, and if yours do, by all means, help yourself; the iron and board are upstairs. I don't garden. I don't go to school open houses because my remaining at-home kid can suck up to teachers for herself. I don't go to PTA meetings. I don't usually send birthday cards, but that's more a matter of good intentions, poor follow-through.I don't make anything look elegant or easy.

About Me

  • Carmen Staicer is a whirlwind of energy and execution who rarely sleeps and loves coffee and happens to have six outstanding awesome, incredibly loud and opinionated kids who are always right no matter what. Her passions include Zumba, hiking, photography, homeless ministry, reading, cooking, and spending time at the beach as often as possible. She's a college student studying to be a social worker who works as a Barista. State of mind? Tired, y'all.
